I bought a medium size as I heard from previous reviews that the waist band might be tight so instead of buying a small, which would of fitted better in the legs, I went for a medium. Even in medium the elastic waist band is too tight, and the adjustable toggle is on its longest length. I would like to have had more length in the waist band to allow for more variation in waist fit. Other than that I have still kept the medium size as although tight it's not uncomfortably so and quality is really good.

Are these pants magic? I don't really understand how they fit so well, but they do. I'm 5'2"/UK 12 and usually have issues with trousers not fitting snugly at the waist while leaving enough room for hips and thighs. Trousers are also usually too long on me too. LOVE the roomy fit and adjustable waist, the depth of the pockets is also awesome. I also own these in waxed cotton and they are my most worn pants.
