The first Green Space Dark Skies gathering was attended by hundreds of people from in and around the Peak District. It was a premiere and the first of 20 events which are creating a new collective connection to our magnificent landscape, as part of a UK-wide celebration of creativity.

Led by outdoor arts experts Walk the Plank and part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK. Green Space Dark Skies is inspired by the 90th anniversary of the 1932 Kinder Scout Mass Trespass, a pivotal event in the movement to secure access to the countryside for ordinary people that influenced the creation of the UK’s network of National Parks.
The events run across the UK throughout the summer, with the finale in September. If you want to get involved you can register at https://greenspacedarkskies.uk/get-involved/
