Jay Cap - Waterproof Hat

Our Jay Cap is a 5 panel ripstop cap that was our first millinery labour of love. After trying out 10 different samples, we finally perfected the design and made it robust enough to protect your head while still being packable and nimble. It's perfect for any weather and can be worn on any day of the week. The waxed version is especially resistant and can be reproofed over and over again to keep you dry for years to come. So if you're looking for a sustainable and functional hat ready for a range of activities, our Jay Cap is the perfect choice!

Available in 4 different colours, Biscuit Orange which is a deep rusty colour, Petrol Blue which is a deep navy blue with a matte finish and then a classic Black, again with a matte finish. If you got these colours in, you'd have a great rotation of waterproof hats ready to complement any fit.

Each one is hand crafted in our own Manchester production unit. The toggle on the back can be tightened making it suitable for windy days too. The only drawback, is that the waxed fabric does not allow for much breathability meaning body heat can be trapped, making it not the best waterproof hat for very warm days. But it's still great on a normal summer day all the way through the winter and back to the Spring, with the perfect colours for each season.

Waxed Boonie Waterproof Hats

The Waxed Boonie Hat is our take on the classic bush hat. It's made from waxed cotton which makes it water resistant and perfect for any weather conditions. The brim provides excellent sun and rain protection, making it ideal for any outdoor activities. And the best part? It's packable and can be easily stored away when not in use.

Taking inspiration and features from military forces design, this waterproof hat also comes with a neck toggle, meaning it can be tightened for use on windy days.

The Bucket hat is a nice waterproof hat for rainy days and comes in a few different colour styles. It features a concealed pocket for small items. Manufactured In House, the hat is made of recycled polyester brand label and 100% waxed organic cotton.

Able to be reproofed for years to come, the bucket hat is also eco-friendly. The hat is a perfect choice for those who are looking for both style and functionality.

Trapper Hat

What started as a quick sample to help brave the cold weather has now become one of our favourite products. The Trapper Hat, made completely in-house with organic waxed rip-stop cotton and extra warm sherpa, is perfect for protecting your head during the long months of winter no matter what country you are in. It also features hemp webbing detailing and a G-hook fasten for a secure fit. Plus, it comes with a concealed pocket and a recycled polyester brand label. Best of all, it's able to be reproofed for years to come. So if you're looking for a way to stay warm this winter, try combining our trapper hat with it's matching muffler scarf.

How to care for your waterproof hats and make sure they stay in style for years to come

To keep your waxed hat in top condition, it's important to reproof it regularly. This will help to repell water and keep the fabric looking good as new. Simply brush the hat with a soft bristled brush to remove any dirt or debris, then apply a waterproofing treatment. We reccomend using our reproofing spray as it's specifically made for these hats. The reproofing spray is available at a price of £12 excluding delivery.
