Crafted from organic Bio Nova waxed cotton by Halley Stevensons - specialists in weatherproof textiles since 1864 - this premium fabric features a bio-based, fluorocarbon-free (FCF) coating. The result is a breathable, lightweight mac with a subtle technical feel that keeps you dry in a shower without the bulk of a traditional waxed jacket.

The cut is minimal yet slightly elevated, designed to layer effortlessly over your everyday staples. Deep side pockets provide practical storage, while an optional storm flap at the collar fastens into a protective funnel neck or can be worn open for a relaxed, modern look.

How to find your size

We've kept our sizing straightforward - just measure yourself or your favourite jacket and match it to the chart

Chest (pit to pit) - Lay a jacket that fits you well flat on a table. Measure straight across from armpit to armpit. This is your most important measurement.

Shoulder - Measure from where your shoulder seam sits at the neck straight across to where your shoulder ends.

Sleeve Length - Measure from the shoulder seam down to where you want the cuff to sit (we measure to the wrist bone).

Between sizes? If you're on the cusp, think about how you want to wear it. Going for a relaxed fit or planning to layer underneath? Size up. Want it more fitted? Stick with your usual size.

Using patterns, we take the fabric, lay out the pieces, mark them on - then carefully cut them out.

2. Our Team Start Sewing

The real work begins - the garment harmoniously makes it's way through the sewing line, being passed through a range of different machines - all handled with utmost care.

3. Any Excess Threads Are Trimmed

The team painstakingly remove any excess threads or imperfections, to ensure your garment is finished neatly and ready to wear.

4. Rigourous Quality Control

QC Checks are applied in order to ensure your garment is in perfect condition and free from defects.

5. Finishing Touches Are Applied

Any buttons, labels, swing tags or other finishing touches are applied to the garment.

6. Packaged Up & Ready To Ship

Once all the previous steps are complete, we package your garment up in a protective poly bag ready to be shipped out to you.

The waxes we use are actually bi-products from fuel production, meaning we're utilizing materials that would otherwise go to waste. Additionally, the application process has a low environmental impact compared to conventional waterproofing methods.

Initially, some minimal wax transfer might occur, but this decreases with wear. We recommend storing waxed items separately from other garments, especially in warmer conditions.

Yes! Reproofing your garment is a simple process that can be done at home with our reproofing wax. This ability to maintain and restore the water-resistant properties makes waxed cotton a particularly sustainable choice.

While the wax coating does reduce breathability compared to untreated cotton, it still allows more air flow than many synthetic waterproof materials. The fabric maintains a good balance between weather protection and comfort.
